City of Nooksack, Washington

Gillies and Seaberg (building at right) and Mather (second from right) built shortly after 1906 and later burned in 1910. Mather purchased former Thompson\'s Drugstore in 1904.

The original Presbyterian Church, later purchased by the Methodist denomination that had been worshiping in the Advent Christian Church near the camp grounds.

Local band organized about 1901. Bandstand located in corner of the Park at Nooksack Avenue and Madison Street. Later moved to across the street from current City Hall and became the City Hall and Jail. Note: 45 star flag and railroad sign - look out for the cars.
